Now is N85 wide open , I used N85 exclusive for bokeh and my customer love this catalog so much.
This shot, of the gas stove burner is outstanding: the lens, not to mention YOUR WORK (!), shows great rendition, sharpness and terrific bokah. Thanks for posting!
Just a GREAT shot: I particularly like the color rendering and sharpness.
I am most fortunate to have purchased this lens in 2005 and now, much to my delight have FINALLY purchased a 5D Mark III... So: may I ask for your impressions of this lens? i'll PM you w/more info.
For 50 years I have been photographing and find your work to be inspiring, wonderful to behold and outstanding in composition. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY. TRULY!!!!
I'm just a poor man and keep try to do what I love to.
I really do love the way of colors rendering from most of carl zeiss lenses ,specially in term of sharpness high resolution and high contrast that produce the realism of 3D effect.
Hey gang, I'm looking to trade a recently Conurus converted N70-200 in fabulous condition for a converted N50. I recently sold my 50L and desperately miss having that fixed focal length with AF that can live on my camera.

Lovely shot as usual from you Contas.
Nalahm, I love that 70-200 mother and child shot and those N400 bird shots.
Paul Yi, very atmospheric Christmas streetshots!
This was taken at about 9:30am on 15 Dec this year, at the Neolithic tomb / monument of Newgrange in the Boyne Valley, Co Meath, Ireland. This is a fantastic 5000 year old site, fully excavated only in the 1960s.
This shot was one of many taken within 1.5 hours off stepping off the aircraft from Kuala Lumpur via Abu Dhabi!!
N 28-85 on 5D Mk III, ISO200, f5.7. I am travelling only with an iPad, so RAW processed with piRAWnha and resizes using Filterstorm. IPad processing/viewing leaves a lot to be desired!
Thanks Lenticular11, nice place and is a must go for most of photographers. At this time of the year and at this altitude, the air must be crystal clear and the rock wall must be stunning contrasty, I see Canon somehow could not depict what you saw and experienced, while 24-85mm is a good lens for this.Your Leica M8 must be an excellent choice, beside Leica , SD1 couples with a Zeiss lens is also suitable.
