Thanks Gunzoro, with your pics , I would know how excellent those Contax N lenses in original film format, and I (we) could use them to compare mine (our) converted digitals.
Contas -- Thanks! It really is interesting dealing with this gear and the imaging. Especially the PP on the scans. I really like the Contax N stuff and lament that it was around for such a short time before going out of business. I'd love to have one of the digital bodies too, even though it is 6MP. Paul does some wonderful work with it.
I'd love Zeiss to get back into the Contax line with new AF bodies and lenses (at reasonable, or competitive, pricing). I'd like an either/or Zeiss AF/MF set-up.
Hey gang, I'm pretty impressed with the N50 samples. I have a 50L and a ZE50/2MP and am wondering if I might be able to consolidate the 2 into an N50. I'm sure it's been said before, but I can't seem to find anything by searching. Thanks for your time and insights.

Would like to hear about it as well. My N100 has been like a pseudo blend of a MP100 and 100APO with AF for me....
I can't believe how sharpness still remain very sharp on 400/4+mutarIII 1.4x @ F/5.6 wide open .
I have tested mutarIII 1.4x with my distortion free system S-planar 100/4, and I get the stunning result that absolutely near zero distortion.
I really wanted to ask about the lens, now I know it's N400, why? , 'cause I saw CA everywhere, that must be zero, as N400 is an APO, other things are OK. I myself veryfied that sensor may cause CA or control it also, check it.
I left leica 112mm filter on the front that effect CA a little bit .
I found some more purple fringing when put on front filter included rear filter but I need lens protection in field all the time.
I don't know much about technical so please give excuse , I notice that N400 had been produced just little CA on APS-C sensor and a little bit more on FF and much more if I put front filter and much much more when included tele-converter .
