Philber - Thanks for the encouragement! We don't have the monumental Architecture and sculptures as Paris and other world historic and cultural cities - but we do have wonderful landscape.
Andi & Wayne - thanks for the clarification - sounds like you guy's are liking that lens. I have a 50/1.4 and a few others at Conurus - 6-8 weeks out.
Jacob D - the "N"s are not quite as smooth as the Z*'s - but are more like the "L"s. I have the 17-35 but have hardly used the AF. However the converted "N" AF is quite responsive and very accurate. The manual focus is very nice - focus chip very accurate and of course you get the EXIF information & electronic aperture.
crazeazn - I don't know what you like to shoot so it's hard to speculate - try a zoom and see if you like it. I have replace most of my Canon zooms with "N"s and intend to convert a 70-200 "N" to replace that Canon - I like the small/light size for that FL.
Thanks Paul - the Colorado and surrounding area landscape is truly wonderful but an interesting street scene is almost absent. Cross between a Cowboy town and a Ski Resort.
I've been to NYC countless times and have Project Managed many projects there - I was one of the key guys executing the J. Crew retail stores - Front Street - 5th Ave - etc. - also a group of Brothers and Starbucks Coffees. Wonderful place - certainly one of - if not the best "City of the World".
Those are seriously badass shots. And probably seriously great lenses. Wish I could get one of those but the price and availability (or lack thereof) put them well outta my reach.
I guess that 17-35 N just demolishes the 17-35 L. 24-85, while not really relevant for me, is also very cool.

no seriously if you could have like 1-2 out of all of them, which converted Ns would u own?
My 2 cents: 17-35N and 85N (and I have had all nine. Those are my top two picks). #3 and #4 would be 100 Makro and 400 N. A lot of people would probably put the 24-85 in there and the 50N.
Not sure what in the rendering is making you think it is Leica looking but I wouldn't describe my N 85/1.4 as that. The lens has good 3-d pop with much smoother bokeh than normal zeiss lenses and is sharper than 50/1.4 and Z*,C/Y 85/1.4 wide open at close up portrait distances.
Nice - cheap portrait model that doesn't mind holding a pose.
Check out the Leica thread and the 80 Lux - very nice - more so than the 90 Cron.
The "N" 85 has one of the better/best bokehs of the Zeiss line-up. I'm liking the "N" 50 also from what I can see being posted. That last one of Ataboy's and several of Andi's really showcases that lens. JMHO
For some reason my cue at Conurus got knock back one place after no change and a two week update - too bad! I thought we were suppose to go forward.
Yep between him and my dog I have the perfect free models to test my new lenses out on!
I have considered getting the 80 Lux before as it is a beautiful lens when stopped down but I don't like it's lack of sharpness wide open and thus prefer my N 85 and my Samyang 85/1.4 wide open. I also have the 85Lmk2 and C/Y 100/2 Planar so I have quite a few portrait lenses in that focal length range.
The N 50 is a great lens and I have enjoyed using my copy in the past and it really excels at f2.8 and up.
Conurus mentioned in a post in his forum how the queue number can increase but I forget why. He also mentioned at the time that he was going to do away with queue position status because people were bugging him too much with questions about it.
