Does the C/Y 35 f1.4 actually cause mirror strikes on a 5DMkII?
Or does it cause mirror hangs?
On my C/Y 35-70 my mirror hangs after taking the pic using my 5DMkII.
I've been looking for a Rollei copy, I don't see them listed, except the vastly overpriced prototype museum items on eBay.
Does the C/Y 35 f2 have any mirror issues on a 5DMkII ?

My 5dII works with my 100-300 and 85/1.4 but the 35/1.4 and the 35-70 hanged the mirror. Both are now modded and works great!
I would guess sample variation - the only one I had conflict with was a C/Y 100/3.5 MM - two swipes with a fine file on the end of the aperture stem - maybe .5mm - and good to go. If you get a 35/1.4 with a problem it's an easy fix - sometime you get a lens that someone has already modified and may not know it.
After leaving some lenses Distagon 35mm be bought by other people on eBay, this time did not hesitate! I gave my pitch to just buy a version of MMJ in Matsuiyastore. My marriage will end and the bank will cancel my credit card, but who cares? Now just wait and be (more) happy! Thank you to all who have influenced me with their beautiful images ...
I had my eye on one of these lens on eBay, when appeared one in an excellent condition in the matsuyastore. I was just taking a quick shower and when I returned she was gone! Just a few minutes... and it was gone You bought it! No hard feelings, of course, at least the lens was bought by a colleague of the FM forum . But this new opportunity I did not let go and gave the bid instantly. Since then - it was only yesterday, but it seems that it's been a month - I can not sleep right , so much anxiety . I hope it arrives soon, I'm getting chills. That's because here where I live is doing almost 40 degrees centigrade. I promise that when the lens arrives, I will send pictures taken with it. Meanwhile, I'm looking at the beautiful images you send and dreaming a little ...

My Distagon lens finally arrived, I do not believe it! I bought the Matsuyastore and is in excellent condition, as advertised (yes crazeazn, you were right!) I do not know how I ever managed without it so far, it is my newest darling. I feel as if I never would have to buy another lens, I found my soul mate in the photograph. While I can not plan a honeymoon with "her" (lucky that my wife did not enter this forum!), here are some pictures that I did as it arrived. As I'm taking more pictures, I'll post if any interest. I take this opportunity to thank all of you who encouraged me to buy this wonderful lens through your beautiful photos! Thanks!
Just a quick snapshot on a 40D, using a new EF-S focus screen... if you are using alt, it is SUBSTANTIALLY easier to focus. Now I need to pick a FF camera!
