It happens on occasion. I'm just a sucker for clouds. There is nothing that I love more than dramatic overcast clouds over my subject with the sun breaking through some distance away and lighting up everything sideways.
Not a particularly good shot, but it's one I have not posted before and it illustrates the principle:
lol i hear ya. i love getting nice clouds too whether the sky is blue or gray. gives the image more drama. what i hate most is when the sky is gray and theres no clouds like when I was in China. Thats all I got mostly thanks to the smog lol
Stockholm half marathon. The route goes through my street so I took the opportunity to take some snaps. For these kind of things there is no point in sugarcoating it - manual focus sucks big time.
SF is beautiful. Lucky trees getting fed by the constant fog.
Fantastic shots guys.
I picked up a copy. Is a hood needed for the lense? If so which one and which accessory to accompany the hood?
Thanks
thanks guys! for whatever reason though, my rollei started hangin the mirror ever so slightly when im all the way at infinity. however if i go to infinity and bring it back just a little, it is fine and shot still in focus. never done that before until this trip.
pdmphoto, no HDR on the 2nd one. had good light with the way the direction of sun was pointing

Try rotating the mount a bit. It started happening to me as well not long ago until I realized that the adapter mount wasn't all that fixed and that it had wiggle room. So if I move it one way after mounting it on the camera, the mirror hits at infinity while if I move it the other way it doesn't.
