Thanks Charles.
I have plenty of different shots from the trip, but I did choose to post the pictures above because I think the show the caracter of the lens.
For example, the third pic in my second post, the profile pic of the guy with the beard, isn't sharp because of misfocus and camera shake... But I still like it and the colors and contrast is beutiful. Well, I think you understand...
Thanks wayne. I'm not seeing any banding on my monitors - which doesn't mean there is none. It could be a difference in color rendering. Is your monitor calibrated?
Whoa, Luka, I almost walked through my computer screen into number 2. I feel like I am there. I love how the light from the store fronts spill onto the facades. It is such a simple picture, but I like the framing and 3D, and of course, nothing could draw it like the c/y 35/1.4.

+1
You and Martin could start selling your photos to the city of Stockholm.

question, do u guys ever get blue skies? lol
It happens on occasion. I'm just a sucker for clouds. There is nothing that I love more than dramatic overcast clouds over my subject with the sun breaking through some distance away and lighting up everything sideways.
Not a particularly good shot, but it's one I have not posted before and it illustrates the principle:

Hehe, that would be a fun combination - his avantgarde post industrial shots combined with my more conventional romantic shots of Stockholm.. If one would generalize it a bit it would make for quite a fun project. Take three or four photographers that have very different styles and let them separately go to the same place and take photos of it. Then present the images together..
