Well, Yakim, my friend, you could have titled it "Antherium" and done away with any suspicions. These are notoriously difficult flowers to shoot so you've done a great job. My only little nit might be that I would have preferred a little more space at the top of the shot just to give it a little breathing room. Overall, though, I really love it!!

I can't think such complicated thoughts when I see this.

Warmest best wishes,
Endre
Now that you say it, I see that you're absolutely right. I'll try to remember this next time. Glad that you liked it even though.
Happy shooting,
Yakim.

I've looked at this several times. My initial reaction was that the field-of-view was too large to really capture the pattern. But it really is a beautiful composition. I love the "swoosh" of red at bottom right.
Great pattern Yakim, and I think quite a good title too, but where's the dog with the collar that let's him talk? (Oh wait, I'm thinking the wrong kind of 'up', aren't I? )
Many thanks guys. I'm glad that you like it. I too like the colours. That's what grabed my attention in the first place. The rest was just to tilt, compose and get the exposure right. I had to give it EC-2 to avoid overexposure of the shaft. Anyone knows where I can buy more DR?
