My ole Pentax Super Takumar 50mm f1.4, too many memories, - still did not get an adapter to use on the Canon EOS

Canon 24-85mm F3.5-4.5

Worth nothing on E-bay. You'd be lucky to get 50 bucks for one and you'd be lying about something to get that much for one. In fact, 18-55mm F3.5-f5.6 kits lens (non IS) sell for more.

So I'll keep it for lack of any value.

I have a "Formula-5" 75-205 f/3.5 lens in Canon FD mount when I was using the old A-1. I can't pay anyone to take it off since every single lens element is a thriving fungal colony, the insides are almost opaque white.

Got a couple of old "Sakar" 28 and 35mm primes for the Nikon F mount that just don't do anything but sit on the mount - no metering or auto exposure, nothing.

An old Aetna 70-210 in Nikon F-mount still sits in the cupboard. It looks like it was used in place of shells in WW-2. The zoom and focus rings still work but are terribly stiff.

Sigma 20mm f1.8

I dropped it a while back. Still works fine but I couldn't really sell it without fessing up and I figure I'd not get much for a lens that has been dropped. I keep thinking it might come in handy for indoor low-light stuff but always end up using the 30 instead.

70-200, just because the situation doesn't come up. I'll feel silly walking around the city with this thing hanging around my neck.

Canon 50mm f/1.8. Backfocuses a lot. I own a 400D body, therefore no MA.

I'm waiting for a good deal on 7D

Only twice have I sold a lens and regretted it, my 24-70L and my 50L, needless to say I wound up buying both of them back. Not going anywhere

The only gear that sits around at this point is my Olympus 35SP rangefinder (which I need to send in for a CLA still) and my father's Pentax MX kit, which has a ruined focusing screen and a 50mm that can't focus to infinity lol, the 28 and 80-200 work fine though

Usually if I wind up not needing something I sell it off, sure I miss a lot of the gear, but I'm always moving forward. If I held on to everything I would have never started with digital I'd still be shooting with my Horseman 4x5 and Mamiya RZ67.

Well my least used lens is my 15mm fisheye. I used it once this year. Will I ever sell it, nope.

I've only got 2 of the original lenses that I started out with, one is the original 18-55 kit lens that I got with my 300D, and the other is the 50mm f/2.5 Macro. I won't sell the kit lens because it's not really worth anything (I just keep is mounted on my 300D which I still have) and the macro is so sharp! I doubt I would sell this lens (Unless Canon updated the 50 macro with ring USM and 1:1 macro).

Why keeping useless gear around when you can turn it into cash for something useful.

Is it "seldom use" or "Never-ever use". I don't sell my seldom use stuff cause it could cost much more to buy it again later in the future. If you never-ever use it then yeah sell it.

My seldom used lenses are the 100mm 2.8 and the 70-200 2.8 IS. I don't never use them but they hardly see action when compared to my 24-70 or 50mm

40D - it's the last of the "not too much, but just right resolution" XXD cameras.
XSI - small. compact, decent IQ, but never use due to having a 1D Mark III.
28mm f/1.8 - too much CA - last used 2 years ago.
50mm f/2.5 macro - replaced by 100mm f2.8 IS - probably never use again.
