p.1 #1 · Sold: Canon 100 2.8 Macro ($400 net to me)
I've decided to switch to Tilt/Shift lenses this year, so I'm selling a couple of my gems to help fund them.
Canon 100 2.8. I'm the original owner of this one. It is everything everyone else says about it, sharp, sharp. Glass and body are great. Comes with Canon front lens cap, and after market rear cap and hood. No box or paperwork. It's a great lens, but it's too close to the 90 Tilt Shift I have coming, so out it goes. $400 net to me.
**** SOLD **** First up is my Canon 17-40L f4. This lens is in great shape. The body and glass are excellent. Comes up both caps and the EW-83E hood. No box, pouch or paperwork. I purchased this on FM last year. The lens cap has the paint on the lettering rubbed off, but the lens is great. Date code UU0107. $595 total to you, I'll cover the paypal fees and shipping to US. The lens is great, 17mm is just too wide for my tastes and my new to me 24 TS-E should cover my wide end now.
I've had a request for images from the 17-40 so I'm adding a shot taken at 17mm.
p.1 #2 · Sold: Canon 100 2.8 Macro ($400 net to me)
Hi,
I'm going to take these off the buy and sell board on Thursday (11/26) evening if they haven't sold. Friday's the last day I could get them into the mail before I'm off the net for a while.
After looking up examples of the 17-40 for folks I've realized that I used it for more keeper shots than I originally thought. So I'll actually be pleased to keep it if it doesn't sell at the price above. If you want to see more images, go to my website Southwest-ScenicImages.com and look at the Ancient Puebloan Portfolio. The Fallen Roof Ruin, House on Fire Ruin, and the interiors of Keet Seel were taken with it.
The 100 2.8 Macro I just haven't used much and my 90 TS-E covers it's range, so I'm willing to deal on it. The first offer that nets me $400 gets it.
