Thanks Andy! Unfortunately the tip of the top wing of the egret was outside the frame. Dang, if I had not used the TC it would have been just right.

Playing arounde with my new 7D replacement today looks like I have a good one now. These were all taken this am using my 100-400 all long shots and most cropped the red bird were the closes I got to today and have been heavy cropped. I also through in a few pijuns for my pal Petkal

Deuces first visit to the Dog Park this morning. Used the 7D and EF-S 15-85mm and PP with final ACR 5.6. AF Spot with Expanded, spot metering, ISO 100-200, slow burst.

This was a 4 burst sequence shot with the EF 70-200mm f/4L @ 200mm, f/7.1, 1/2000, ISO 400. The second shot in the series was not included because Deuce had his eyes closed. AF held well on Hi-Burst, AF Center + Expanded. Some cropping, PP with ACR 5.6.
