Would look marvelous on a front cover of a world-class magazine

Magnificent ! I thought I will never say this about a flower shot, but like the b&W version better

I had a long look the incredibly beautiful color version before returning here to take a long look at this one. Now one might think that a picture so lovely and colorful would surely HAVE to lose something in the conversion to black and white. Well, one would once again be wrong!

I hope your coffee table book is a high priority project, Endre, my friend.

Thanks, Fishit! I'm always happy when you like one of my shots. Unfortunately, I'd need a Government Grant to be able to afford to do a whole book of bouquets.

All the best,

Endre

Thanks so much, Lazlo, my friend! It's hard to understand how B & W is better than color when it comes to flowers but most people tend to prefer my B & W flower shots to their color counterparts.

All best wishes,

Endr

Thank you, Cal, my dear friend! That you take so much time studying the various versions is a compliment in itself. The book is, indeed, a priority, but I have no idea about how to go about getting it published.

Warm regards,

Endre

I want to get a copy of that book whenever it's done. As always, this shot is just stunning, but then ALL your work is stunning. You are truly the Ansel of BW flower photography!

As to this one, I honestly prefer the BW version. The color is nice, but the BW just pops with the beautiful contrasts and light effects.

Thanks so much, Jo. I'm so glad you like it. Your high praise is too kind. I have no idea if or when my book will get published but with all the good thoughts that come from this board, I'm sure something will happen. I'm also thinking of making some custom note cads with some of the flower photos on them. I wonder if anyone would buy those?

All best wishes,

Endre
