Nice job on the first outing. The teal is fabulous. You and I must be the only ones around who use PSP.
meant to ask, how do you like the bushhawk? I'm seriously thinking of getting the 7D for a back up of my MKIII which has 250000 shutter releases on it. I'd love the video. One pound off the weight I carry too.

Thanks for the encouragement, Rogelio. There's definitely more of a learning curve on the 7D than the 40D. Gee, I may have to read the manual all the way through...

Woweee Steve, first time out with that body and you get these results, impressive! Very cool on that Killdeer IF, really a pretty display and good shot by you. Startling detail on the Green Winged Teal, patterning is wonderful Steve. Nutmeg looks strong too, super looking eye and great contact too.
It's all good buddy, nice rig for reach and detail and crop and .....etc
Karl
Thanks my friend! I of course look at the "half empty" part of the glass and see that it took 400 shots to get less than 10 that I'm satisfied with. Gee, I hope the learning curve gets better soon... You're right about the reach, detail and crop, those along with the 8fps makes it worth the moolah IMHO.

Congrats on the new gear Steve... it's quite obviously in very capable hands.
Very productive "spin"... these are some fine images.
My favorites are the Nutmeg Mannikin, the Hummer, and the IF Killdeer is fantastic and one of the very best I've seen.
Well done.

Thanks, Kirk. There's a definite learning curve to the 7D, and as I'm not one to read the manual until I get in trouble I'm probably making it harder figuring this out than I should. But at least I'm havin' fun doing it...
Hi Steve
Terrific series and the techs are looking sweet as always
Fantastic look at the Hummer, love the tail up pose.
The Killdeer IF is amazing Sir, beautiful detail and color is dead on!!!!
Man you got close to the Peli, nicely exposed and great wings down pose.
Favs are the Teal and Mannikin, glorious color and detail in both Steve
Hi Steve been awhile sine we both have connected on the forum. Hapy for you to see the results with the new D7. They all look very sharp an great detail. I wish you good luck with it and I am sure you will be knocking out some great photos from it.
Lou
Congrats on your new gear, Steve. Very good job with these, especially with the Kildeer IF. Good job with the exposure of the peli as well. Detail look very good in all of them and some show some beautiful lighting. Sweet lighting and detail in the last two shots.
Nice to see you posting again.
