To those who don't yet understand the purpose of this thread here is it again:
This thread is intended to help welcome Newbies and Lurkers to this forum and to encourage them to participate. That is done by communicating with them, responding to their concerns as much as possible, and providing them with numerous free tips on how to have a better time here on this forum.
While some people here may not think this is important to this forum, I do.
I also see it working as I notice new people posting pics here and participating in discussions, and these are people who expressed that they had not participated before because this forum was not as friendly as some others. I also know of several more who are planning on participating soon.

To the Newbies and Lurkers: Here is my sincere "Thank You" to those who have written in the last few days. I appreciate your supportive notes and hope you will enjoy posting here and participating here.
Remember, you don't have to post photos to participate and contribute.
Also, I will reply to you each individually as soon as I can. The Thanksgiving holiday travel has put me behind a few days. I will catch up soon on the correspondence.
Put a number between your images when posting links for several images. That way the viewer can easily make their comments correspond to the appropriate image. This is especially important when there are many images or several that are very similar. It will help you get better comments and possibly more comments.

That is "off topic" as this thread is about helping Newbies and Lurkers and the Tips on How to Post on a Photography Forum are FREE (totally free) and written to help others as described in detail in my original post.
This thread is NOT about any services or any other thing (service/goods, etc.) that may cost anything.
This thread is about helping encourage Newbies and Lurkers to participate and have a better time on this forum. I have written several pages of Tips that I am providing for FREE to help them have a better experience here.
