Yeah that's why people are buying 800mm lens . I'm stuck with 50mm f/1.4 .

Hey it looks like the 7D can do almost as well as a 2004 1D II, which is a quantum leap for a non 1 series camera and you get the added bonus of nearly 2x the reach.
I'm still waiting until the AF debate is settled (or not) before grabbing one though.
I know exactly how you feel. Tuesday, I had the 7D in my hand for about an hour. Went home to see which credit card I should use. Unfortunately my mail had both my home owner and auto insurance renewal forms waiting. Where oh where is that winning lottery ticket I have been waiting for these past 15 years.
