I see what you mean by your earlier comment to me that you like abstracts. And it does look like an impressionist painting. Very well done. I do wonder, however, whether the splash is necessary. The image could very likely stand on its own without it.
I absolutely love this image! It's the kind of picture I'd have on a big canvas on my wall at home : ) Like Rich says though, I think it would work really well without the splash too.
