Dude, no offense but there are several threads on the first page, all within the top 10, that this could have been posted in. That being said I have not seen this image yet, and do appreciate the effort
is it full frame? pop us flash?
yes to the first and no to the second and it will be saweettt!
Pop up flash has got to be the suckiest thing ever.
They left a ton of room to make the lcd even bigger in the future.
doug
It's hard to say whether not it has a pop up flash, which can be handy at times, BUT the lens mounted on it clearly says EF-S on it so it pretty much has to be a crop body.
Another true diehard FMer indeed
Rumor also said that 7D will have the Built-in Master flash, which could replace the ST-E2. If it's true, this feature will push this body above $2K, near $3K for a crop body. Yikes!!!

Top source $1699 MSRP including built-in wireless flash master control. Pending real IQ tests this could be quite a nice addition to the EOS line.
This looks legit to me. It gells well with all the other info being leaked. You can see the new on-off switch position under the mode dial and if you look closely there's the M-Fn button close to the shutter button - both features seen on the "leaked" top plate. Even the 7D logo has the right position compared to earlier photos.
As much as people are wishing for a FF body, or even APS-H, it's obviously APS-C, has a popup flash, and probably a gazillion features that will put it well above the price point of the D300s.
I remember the 70-200 f/4 IS launch well, where everyone was hoping for $700 max and it is released at over $1000. After the sticker shock and name calling settled, it became a best seller.
I'll be glad if I'm wrong, but with all the near-pro features this body is likely to have, my guess is that the best buy price leak of roundabout $2500 is probably fairly accurate. We'll see very soon, I guess.

"19 points cross type AF sensor. Center AF point uses cross plus X type AF sensor"
Meaning it will AF up to F/8....anybody could comment on that?
