mine arrived today
was surprised how small it is - expected it to be a little bigger
very lightweight, and i always like it when you can let the cam+grip sit on the table without tipping over from the weight of the lens.
being able to use onboard flash is a huge plus!
snapped a quick dozen or so shots outside
trying to contain myself from typing this in all caps.
Congratulations on a great lens choice, SYN ACK.
Let us see some pictures of yours now.
Just remember, the lens does well so many types of photography other than BIF.
went outside and managed to find a few bees - not much else i had time for today.
AF is pretty quick in AF servo. i really don't think i'll have any complaints. it's faster than i thought it would be (with the way some people spoke about it).
quick crops/sized down. these were shot real quick / hand-held with on board flash. absolutely no effort put forth, and they still came out sharp!
Aladyforty I carry my EFs60 around with a Hoya (collapsible rubber)
Multihood for convenience and protection while the Canon rigid
hood sits in a drawer-either one is good but Im prefer the Hoya.
