Yakim,
A little while ago, you asked if I'd take photos of my Mamiya M645 lenses at infinity and minimum focus distance (MFD). Well, I did, and here's links to the 1DII small coarse jpegs (cropped & downsized), in case anybody wants to see them (in addition to Yakim). There's a summary table of the measurment data at the end of the posting. The images are nothing special. After a few setup shots, I burned through the whole bunch without any checks and adjustments between shots - you get what you pay for.
P.S. my A 300/2.8 APO is internal focus, and so there's no shots of it - the shelf I used probably wouldn't hold it up, anyway.
Cheers, Jim

Well, I now have the longest (120/4) and shortest (35/3.5) expanding ones. After looking at the 2.8 and 1.9 images I think I'll like the 1.9 a bit more. It's both much faster and while the difference in mm is the same, being longer it extends less in percentages.
Thing is, I know I don't really need a 80mm lens. I also don't like manual focus. It's just that they are so beautifully machined and the images are so spectacular and the prices are so reasonable that I just know I'll grab the first mint 80/1.9 N to appear in the B&S board. I'm hopeless. I've become a gear junky.
Happy shooting,
Yakim.
