Thanks Sam,
sometimes I need to be reminded of the job I am blessed with. Especially at this time of the morning when I have 1000's of photos to sort through before I go to bed.

One of the best things about this job is that you don't have to sort through thousands of photos in the middle of the night unless you choose too. Well, or unless you overpromised an unrealistic delivery time also....
we take PIX for MONIES. Like, I show up - me!!! - I show up somewhere, with a hobby on my neck - go "OH SNAPPPPPP!!!!!" for hours, and then they put food on my table, a roof over my head. YAY YAY YAY YAY!

i realized this when i found myself looking randomly at different objects and light thinking "that would be awesome to photograph or this place would be great for an e-session"
there isnt a single day that goes by where i dont think about photography at least once
oh yeah and that whole getting paid thing helps too
I was shooting a lesbian bar-hopping event a couple of months ago. At 3am in morning, the promoter turns to me and says "you have the best job in this entire place" It was a train-wreck of EPIC proportions.
