We're shooting a film-themed wedding this weekend, and were asked to dress like paparazzi, if possible. It's an afternon wedding, outside garden venue. I don't follow paparazzi fashion ;> , so any ideas are welcome! I'm thinking short-sleeved shirt, not tucked in, no tie, cargo pants, maybe a photo vest? As for colors, maybe khaki pants and a light shirt? Or maybe shades of gray?
I would say photo vests are a must
Most of them nowadays stay pretty incognito.
You should rent a 600mm lens and a 2x teleconverter and stay in the woods so they can't see you, like a true paparazzi
I didnt even know they have a dress code... I only know their M.O. is to be RUDE to ppl, at least from watching TMz. Seriously, my suggestion is to dress clean, comfortable and be professional.
I was out in cali last year and saw Jessica Simpson hop out of her truck right in fron of me on Sunset blvd and she got swarmed by papparazzi... they were basically wearing jeans and t-shirts... no photo gear other than 2 cameras, one with a 70-200 and one with a 24-70.

you should go for the "press" look... get one of those hats and a little thing saying "press" and go around with a notepad and your camera.
This was exactly what I was thinking. It would be really cute!
