Bought a Big Ed 2 from Scott (acted as middleman for friend Karen)
Good communication-Postal monkeys kinda dragged their feet-both ways,
but happy to report...grip in hand and as described. Thanks!
Had a 2nd transaction with Scott...bought LowePro LensCase4 and
enjoyed fast shipping and some clever packaging from our modest moderator. Always a pleasure-can't go wrong here...Will

Denis and I made a deal, he provided payment info, he confirmed reciept of payment, he posted in his thread that the item was sold to Barry (that's me), then a few hours later I get a pp refund. a few minutes later I get another email from pp with his comments that an earlier buyer and him miscomunicated. Bottom line, no real harm done, but I am out my $$ until pp refunds it in 4 business days or so. It's not big $$ thank goodness, but this was a sloppy deal, a waste of time, and it wasn't my fault at all. Maybe it was the earlier buyers fault, I don't know, but I hate wasting my time, and having my $$ on hold for a week, even if it isn't a lot of $$. Given there is only inconvieniance, no real loss, I'll shrug it off. He could have at least sent me a direct email or PM instead of just the comments on pp form.
Comments: Jay is a great seller to be completely trusted. He accurately described this lens, was very quick to reply to all emails, and shipped it immediately. It can't get much better than that!
Bought batch of 58mm filters from Jim, and in addition to the great deal, enjoyed almost telepathic shipping/well packaged and timely communication.
Man, it doesn't get much better than this folks...many thanks, Will
I ( stwphotography ) purchased a camera from CAPT60 and
he is a great person to do business with and everthing was perfect
from the product , shipping and his word.
Comments: Just bought a lens from "bobton" and I'm very happy. The lens was exactly as described , arrived quickly and was well packed. High praise for "bobton"
I'm truly overwhelmed by the volume of positive content here.
How is it that so many people were out firing guns at each other during th recent/ongoing crisis in New Orleans?
As a Canadian, I find all of what I have seen so hard to comprehend, especially since I know so many Americans who really are good, honest, thoughful people (and this site and esp. this thread shows that).
I think there must be at least half of you down south who really are Canadians at heart.
Cheers to all of you, and my thoughts go out to the thousands of lives that have been forever altered by Katrina.
With utmost respect,
