The bag was packed so well I didn't think I would ever get it out of the box. I was like a kid opening all of his christmas presents trying to get the box open. Product was very well packaged, in excellent condition, just like Joe described and the pictures showed.
I'd deal with Joe again in a heartbeat provided I weren't such a poor college kid supporting such an expensive hobby.

Joseph promptly shipped his 14mm f/2.8 upon receipt of payment; plus he included a rebate check when he found the lens had a small cleaning mark on the front element. A big thumbs up!

RESULT OF TRANSACTION: Flawless. Erik said he would mail the check and he did so immediately. The check arrived as described, actually in even better condition than described. Check came without checkbook attached but we had discussed this before finalizing the deal.
CONCLUSION: Deal with Erik with confidence and feel free to cross-ship, but if you are the seller do not expect more than one check for the items you purchase. However, that one check will be in the amount agreed upon.
I purchased an RRS plate for my 1D from marioalessi and was surprised when it arrived as new in bag with instructions and all. Great service, fast shipping, nice guy. Would love to do business with again.
I know I'm suppose to put this in the positive feedback thread, but I wanted to start a new thread for this one. It's a good example of why the people on this forum make transaction so worry free.
Anyway, last week I bought a brand new 20D grip from knov87 (Ken). When I got the grip I discovered that it had the same problems everyone is complaining about (incorrect battery level display, easily powered off by flex). Well I emailed Ken to let him know about the problems, he went way out of his way to have Dell exchange the grip and send it to me. I'm sure he spent a good amount of time on the phone with them, and he got it all straightened out and managed to have a new grip at my door two days later. He went way out of his way to help me out, and I really appreciate it.
So anyone thinking of doing business with Ken, all I can say is that he's a great guy to deal with and a good example of the positive experience I've had using this forum.
