this is actually the second lens that i own of john's -- my 35 1.4L was originally his as well. since john and i have a history, he sent me the 50 to try for a week before i bought it. my indecisiveness was quickly answered as it only took me a saturday and sunday to decide. john is truely a great person and i will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
