Comments: Had to wake up this afternoon when the doorbell rang. Lo and behold, the UPS man with a large box containing 5 Zeiss lenses.
Son - has delivered again. Good packing. It is raining so I did not get a chance to use it yet but will do so tomorrow.
I bought an old film camera from Son (PhotoCinematic). Now those on FM likely don't appreciate in this digicam age just what a leap of faith it is to purchase a fully mechanical camera from someone else, sight unseen. Many things can be wrong with an old camera (in this case, a ~20 year old camera). But I had already bought a mint 1Ds from Son and it was perfect and exactly as he described. So I knew I would be happy, and I am. I recommend Son for any dealings on FM, especially those that, like this one, involve a great amount of faith and trust. He is second to none!
Comments: Great buying experience with Frank! Converter arrived in as-new condition, packaged with more than enough packing material and shipped immediately on payment.
