I traded a 19" NEC LCD monitor for a 70-200 f4 and some cash. The lens was as described and comunication was great. I would buy/trade with him again if the opportunity arose.

I purchased a 2GB Ultra II CF card from Frank, and the transaction could not have gone more smoothly. He's a very nice person to deal with, and even sent out the CF card before receiving the MO (which isn't something I requested, he's just that nice of a guy ).

I recently bought a used Canon 10D from Eric and I wanted to let everyone know what an absolutely outstanding guy he is to do business with. Having never made a purchase this large from someone I'd never met, I was a bit cautious. Eric went out of his way to be patient and allowed me to contact him personally until I was comfortable with our deal.
When I received the 10D it turned out to be in better condition than was described. Unfortunately and unknown to Eric the camera had a minor problem most would not have noticed in that the on board flash would fail to raise occasionally.
Since I do use this for close indoor shots Eric offered to refund my money, but after talking it over we decided to send it to Canon for a repair estimate. Canon's estimate was more than either of us would have guessed and probably the best thing for Eric at this point would have been to have me ship back the camera to him for a refund.
Eric was more concerned with minimizing the inconvenience to me however and paid for the repair. I received the 10D from Canon today and its working perfectly. I can't say enough good things about the way Eric handled our transaction from start to finish.
There are no doubt many fine photographers on FM to to business with, but there are "None Finer" than Eric Larsen.
