The item was promptly shipped and was packaged as new from Canon (I didn't realize that the item actually came with the box, warranty card and information. It even had the plastic wrap and styrofoam that comes in the box from the manufacturer). This lens hasn't a mark on it and functions flawlessly. He was very communicative and answered all of my pre-sale questions without tardiness. A very good buying experience.
