NEW Comments: Well, I'm very disappointed. I find further issues with his prices. At this point, I did over pay for what we settled on. I wish I had done even more due diligence. His price of $5657 was obscenely over-valued. I did not do enough research, and he took advantage of that fact. His price is easily over $1000 inflated. He did come down $400 but he really should have come down $700.

In the end, I could have purchased his full set up brand new for almost 20% less than what he valued it as. The $400 price difference is a much too small portion of that; after seeing items should have been included free. He also listed upgraded component prices on his older no longer sold components. The increased price is reflected in an improvement in the product. His items didn't have those improvements but he still used the higher prices.
If he had an issue with the price I paid, I really wish he wouldn't have sold to me. He was free to sell it to someone else; and with how many things he over charged for; I think he ended up with more money than he originally paid for this stuff. At this point, I do not believe I would do business with abrocketsfan again. There is just too much of a likelihood that he would make TOO MANY "mistakes" on his pricing.

My only gripe: I had mentioned my asking price and there was no disagreement when we agreed to meet, but Chris started to haggle after 45 minutes of testing and disassembling items. I was under the impression he was prepared to pay my asking price but we eventually had to settle at a price $450 lower than what I had given him. I felt he treated it like a used car purchase and that didn't sit well with me. All equipment had been described and checked out just as described; if I had known haggling was going to be involved I had higher offers. Price aside, I was happy to deal with someone who would make good use of the equipment. He helped complete the disassembly and came prepared to take all the equipment away without any problems.
