The 400mm DO was my dream lens on paper but it has very mixed reviews so I was hesitant to spend $4.6k on a question mark. Nick and I exchanged many emails - 64 if I count them - and Nick always replied quickly with very accurate explanations. He even did a special test session comparing his 400mm f/2.8L to the DO so that I could make a better decision, which is what I did finally. After he received the funds the lens shipped immediately. It is not only mint as advertised, but like new! And as Nick promised this is an amazing lens.
