Been keeping an eye on craigslist electronics for sale section for another 24-70 f/2.8L to go up for sale. Found Dans for sale post on Craigslist first and then checked here on FM to see if there was a post here also for the same items to get a reassurance that the sale was "legit" on CL. Sure enough there was a for sale post by Dan on FM for this lens.
Dan was easy to deal with through out the exchange of emails and questions I had shot over to him. He provided sample shots taken with the lense in a heartbeat.
Transaction went smooth. Lens was sold in prestine condition. The usual scuffs on the hood but everything else LNIB. Would buy from him again if I had more money to spend!

Fred is a fine seller. He obliged me with large pics of the item, got his PayPal account verified, and offered references of previous buyers. He shipped UPS insured the same day I paid. The lens was carefully packed, with a couple of extra rear lens caps thrown in too. The item was as described, i.e. in excellent condition.
Comments: Well Christopher is a pleasure to deal with. I purchased this from Australia and I was initially concern having to pay a total stranger large sums of money 16,000 KMs away. I rang Christopher just to make sure he exist . 7 days later from payment I got my lens, it would have been quicker if not for customs taking their 2 days to release item plus 2 days wasted over the weekend.
