I know that happens among members who've been around for awhile and developed some trust. Chris responded to my WTB for this lens and offered a deal that seemed fair for a like new copy of this venerable lens. He was even willing to reduce the price slightly to satisfy my deeply engrained, though surely unreasonable need to "get a deal." We never spoke on the telephone, only through email, yet I enjoyed the experience greatly, including the humorous play around the price reduction. I mailed payment last Wednesday and he shipped the lens on Friday. It arrived today, well packed and in precisely the condition he promised... like new.
