Background blur is not a crutch for lighting, subject, composition and post processing nous though

That said there are some great shots in here!
Dawel pls show us photos of substance. I think a prime reason to spend so much money on primes is for the blur that a large aperture affords. If not for that then why carry so heavy gear and be limited to one focal length?
