Another from my recent visit to Wales . I am a bit hesitant about posting this picture , as there's a lot of detail to pack into a web file and the jpeg compression compounds the problem . Having said that , I think it's quite a pleasing view and worth an outing or two .
The Mawddach Estuary looking south east from Barmouth bridge . This area forms part of the Snowdonia National Park , N Wales .
Canon : 5D , 70-200mm f4 @ f25 and 94mm , 1/100 sec , ISO 200 .
Panoramic : Six-shot vertical , processed in Adobe CS3 .
PS : For those who prefer a single screen view I''ve added a no-scroll version .
I like the colour and texture contrasts here. Ruggednesss and smooth sand; reds and greens.... - there's a lot in this. It would be great to see a big print!
Gorgeous color and contrasts. You could have stopped the pan where the beach starts on the bottom right, and where the mountains start sloping down to the right (same vertical spot). There is some very nice detail in there but had I not seen it I would not have missed it . Great work!
Hey Adrian. No hesitation needed. The detail in this is amazing and a great feature of the picture. I just love it mon brave! Nice weather you're having over in the West. It's a bit mixed here in Bonny Scotland (East wind and all that).
