Hi Adrian,
I like the colour and texture contrasts here. Ruggednesss and smooth sand; reds and greens.... - there's a lot in this. It would be great to see a big print!

Superb Adrian. F/25 indeed. Did it give you the appropriate DoF? Lovely shot in every respect. The camera body puzzles me. Truly 3 d look to it.
Thanks Tim . DOF seems pretty good at these distances and that 70-200 mm f4 is a sharp cookie ! The 5D has two extra dimensions as yet undiscovered . :

That is grand! Look at those clouds!
You had such a productive trip, I am really enjoying your images.
Ute
Thank you Ute . Most of the ' good ' stuff seemed to come from one or two days , but I'm not complaining !

Gorgeous color and contrasts. You could have stopped the pan where the beach starts on the bottom right, and where the mountains start sloping down to the right (same vertical spot). There is some very nice detail in there but had I not seen it I would not have missed it . Great work!
Best,
Jose
Thanks Jose . I don't quite follow what you mean about cropping , but I wanted to include the curve of the beach at extreme right as it seemed to add a little more harmony to the view .

This is excellent Adrian. One of those rare images taken in midday sun that is the better for it.
Alex
Thanks Alex . Taken around 4 pm and there was no better light to be had that day . Perhaps golden light next time !

Well done Adrian! That will be absolutely stunning covering an entire wall.
Many thanks Mike . Can't print it myself , but I'm looking into the prospects !

What a wonderful view! Really nicely done, Adrian!
Love the crisp, clean look about this, beautiful sky and lovely palette of color and texture.
Barry
Thanks Barry . I struck lucky with the light and colour . I'm glad it came out reasonably crisp and clean ; the bridge is wooden and carries foot and motorcycle traffic as well as trains --- and vibrates freely at every opportunity !
The lighting and color is superb. What a beautiful setting.
Cheers,
Ed
Thanks Ed . It's a very beautiful part of Wales . Referred to as the " sublime estuary " by the poet Wordsworth , and an area frequently painted by the artist J M W Turner in their respective 19th century travels .

What a magnificent setting. Makes me want to move to the mountains, Adrian!

Many thanks , Patrice . Even when the sun doesn't shine , it's pretty bracing in those parts !
