Way to get the shot my intrepid friend It was crazy crazy on Sunday!!
Love the drops of water blown off the head in #2, really conveys the situation
Favorite is the last frame with the bird hunkered down, really like the compo here too
Tom
Thanks Tom!
It was insane on Sunday!! I did have to laugh while shooting these guys watching the water blowing off of them.

Surfer Brandts it looks like Tim, lots of water action going on buddy I do like #'s 3,4 best. Great work in some tricky conditions, wind, water and 700mm+ Last shot shows a nice range of browns Tim, and they look clean
Karl
Karl, these guys do surf! I have seen them ride waves up to the beach! They also have their own technique for going back through the breakers.
Thanks for the good words. I know these aren't your favorites!

Excellent work Tim. I recently saw a pair of brandts for the first time. They were seen in Iowa last fall for few days and kept the local birdies busy.
Harsha
Thanks Harsha, they do raise a stir when the first show up here I did beat the birders by a few days!!
Seems like nothing is too much trouble for you Tim cause you sure went to a lot of trouble to get these. Which of course leaves very little trouble for the rest of us troublemakers to work with. Trouble with that is that then the price of trouble goes up and its just too much trouble to do anything about it. Its very troubling isn't it. Would apply for a bailout for this troubled sector but the troubled troublemakers union is against it. Some people think its just too much trouble but they dont realize that there is so little trouble around these days.
Hope I don't stay troubled about this.
Seriously, very nice post Tim, First one is my top pick. Really wasn't too much trouble to pick that. Oh, oh, better not start again or I will be in trouble myself.
Martin
PS. For those of you who are wondering what all of this is about go see Ed's post on the Little Ones....if its not too much trouble
