Beautiful. Love the bokeh that makes it look almost like an oil painting.

Thank you very much Denoir. Glad you enjoyed the shot.

How about fallen flower petals? I believe the flower is an Alstroemeria. 1DIV with EF50mm f/1.2 @ f/1.2 and the EF12 extension tube. I like the not so sharp effect with this lens at close distances.

Great .. I just wish each poster restrained him(her)self to ONE photo - especially if there are some that aren't very interesting. Actually, not too surprising, those who post more than one often aren't that discriminate with their own shots..

Love your shot. Very inspirational. Can you please tell us how you acquired your God-like skills?

Henry, sometimes it is better to remain a lurker.

Thanks!

Here's another one, this time with the EF 35mm f/2 @ f/2. Definitely shot with the EF12 extension tube, but possibly also with a teleconverter, but I don't remember now and the exif doesn't record that detail.

The shape of the petal reminds me of a swan.

And a live flower this time... Also the EF 35mm f/2 with the EF12 extension tube. This was shot pretty much directly into the setting sun yet the lens doesn't show signs of flare.

Good stuff. The Norwegian wood(s) must be full of those. Do some more.
While at it, show some Blue parrots as well.

While out killing weeds in the garden today, I noticed these flowers had sprung up, enjoying our suddenly nice weather. Grabbed the camera and snapped a few shots with the 70-200 f/2.8.
