ausmr,
Nice shots...it's interesting to see what the new 24TSEII can do.
Nice bokeh...and being able to adjust the focal plane really can be an
advantage when shooting flowers.
Thanks for sharing :-)
Lots of nice images everybody!!!!!
keep em coming !!!

How did you light this one Anden. It's a very voluminous light, very nice indeed. I have a beautiful Camelia in bloom at the moment and this is the sort of shot I'd like to get.
Natural light in the shade on a sunny day. Some light reflected from a white wall from the left.

Peter, always like your works - beautiful colours every shot - more please
Thank you, Michael, I am happy you seem to like the same floral expressions as I do.
I walk thru the parks in our area and try to work with colours and light that is there. By October the flowers will be gone, however, trees start turning red and yellow. That's our last opportunity to enjoy beautiful colours before winters hit.
Here are three more from the same 300 f/2.8 IS series.
The third photo: (1) The flower is white. So how did you control exposure to retain so much details? Greycard? (2) The whole color feels "cold", I assume that this is achieved through adjusting whitebalance in RAW?
The second photo: Do you use artifical light? Or you simply underexpose?
The first one: This one looks natural. Any story here?
