I've sold my 400 mm f/2.8 IS USM and bought instead 400 mm f/5.6. Why? The first one is too heavy to carry arround for me.
I also changed my 1DMarkIII to 1DsMarkIII. Then I sold my 16-35 mm f/2.8 II and bought instead the 135 mm f/2.0. Before I came to this camerabag it has been several different lenses and cameras. Now I feel that I have reach the end of my search.
Even in these tough economic times we photographers must help the economy. If all goes well what purchases do you plan to make this year.

Also, I picked up a film body for $75 which I already regret doing as I don't think that I am ever going to use it...
And Finally (june purchase)
Today I just financed a 17-40 f/4 L from bestbuy for 18 months... ($709.99 with a pricematch if anyone cares, PM me if you want details)
And I am already eyeing some light stands, a teleconverter (2x), another AB800, a vagabond II, a 24-70 f/2.8L, and either a used 5D (around $1,000) or a 5DmkII depending on how well the season goes...
Well I bought a Canon 5DII, BG-E6, LP-E6, and a Sony HDR-XR500V. I won't be buying anything else this year unless I decide to unload some of my gear. (This according to my wife!)

You might be able to get a good price on the wife here on FM/BS. Then buy more gear...
This year has been pretty good for gear purchases so far, and it's only about half way through.
The few things i sold paid for pretty much all of what I bought. I'm much happier with my new equipment.
