p.1 #1 · Springtime Serenade

I made this picture from several others, but the main one is the Bison, which I photographed some time ago with the D300 and venerable 70-300VR. Am interested in any feedback or comments, thanks much

do you really want comments on this? are you prepared to hear comments that might not be to your liking and not get bent out of shape?

You have done it so many times Joe , if people say anything other than nice picture then they have to be ready for a salvo from you. it gets pretty tiring. I comment positively on your work when it is good and some of it really is, but if you want critique you should live with it if it is negative and perhaps learn something from the collective "wisdom" of this board. I know it has helped me in that way over the years. This one is like a bad acid trip and perhaps with a lot of work could be an album cover for a hippie band or something. Go for strange and different stuff , but know that some of it just is going to be a success

I'm not sure I am too fond of this one. I like the original bison image on your website though. The gorilla one is also very well captured.

I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to say here. None at all.

Thanks Todd for visiting and your comment. I was not making statement or displaying a story. Instead, I made the picture and included elements from the Spring and Summertime. The leaf and branch in the lower left are left over from the Fall and Winter. As you can tell, the elements are mostly critters and pretty flowers. The field is a field of lavender which helped to make the original Bison picture - I integrated the Bison from one picture into the lavender field. This picture adds other elenments from several pictures.

It was interesting making the picture, and looks like a fantasy like thing on metallic paper

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts on it

Joe

JM, Again, you seem to delight on sermanizing and living in the past instead of forging new relationships and moving forward. That is a loser attitude. You always seem to do that...

As far as a bad acid trip, well, I have heard the term but no direct experience. If some more work would get the picture into an album cover, well then, I could use the money to buy the new D3x and some lenses, such as the 500mm AFS VR.

Thanks much for the last sentence and your comment on the picture, that is much appreciated.

Joe

I thought it was funny, and the kids liked it too. The prariedog on the bison is a little strange, though.

I don't who's trying to pick the fights here?

is it just me or is there only seemingly one person calling out personal attacks?

Joe.... no one was attacking your images the way you seem to be reacting to it...

true... they weren't generally posiitve.... but in noe way were they an attack on you or your images...

you seem to go through this very cycle every time... you post something looking for feed back.... and for what ever reason people give you the feedback which you are requesting... you get your back up every single time... but never is any one attacking you.... you become very belligerent and aggressive in your responses... you are the one calling people out for being immature... when I believe that really, you are the one acting far more immature than anyone else here.... no one else here is making personal attacks... I don't think you should either.....
