I went out on Saturday morning with my new Sony F828 looking for street typography subjects here in Tokyo. I really enjoyed the wide variety of things that this assignment encouraged me to photograph, including this simple stop sign on the street.
Many thanks for commenting--glad to know you liked this one! It sure was fun having this excuse to take pictures of things that I normally wouldn't even give a second glance!
Great rugged and contrasty feel in this, Tom. Almost 3d like. Congrats on the 828, looks like alot of potential in that cam. Don't forget to crank those ir's out, too! Mike

Thanks, Mike, for commenting on this one! Yes, I sure like the 828--it is a lot of fun to use for street photography and candid portraits. A very versatile camera.
You are really showing what the 828 can do in the right hands! Great visual appeal, composition and focus. It makes me 'stop in my tracks' and admire it.
Tom great shot, this is truly a fun WA and all the shots that I have seen are good but yours is as good as they get, now the question is why do all people's feet turn out? Even in Japan.... That's what makes the picture for me..

Very encouraging feedback, Lynn--thank you! Great observation on the position of the feet--really made me laugh to think about it!!
