Susan,
Incredible series!
I really love the mood in the Tundra Swans. The Meadowlark is awesome - doesn't even need a perch. Composition on #10 is sweet also. Always look forward to seeing what you have to post. Thanks for sharing them with us.
well I dont know where to start
#2 reminds me of me and my ex-fiance when we thought it would be 4-ever
#6 reminds me how much we drifted apart
#8 reminds me well you know....
Susan, you have produced very nice images here!!! I really enjoy the subtleness of the swans together in photo #2!!! That is a lovely image. The RTH in Photo #3 is very nice, and I enjoy the vibrant colors there a lot!!! Photo #5 is wonderful!!! The trees add an interesting perspective to the image!!! Great work!!!

Beautiful Sue!
#10 in particular really grabs me... For a moment I though that I should be looking for the horizon line where the reflections of the geese would be found... I did not find it
The meadowlark has some lovely detail as well. I had not appreciated their feathers fully until now.
Thanks for sharing, keep having fun with it!
Josh
Hi Josh, many thanks! The number of birds in the sky was mind-boggling and impossible to convey through a photograph... What an amazing place!

Tim
Thanks, Tim!! The meadowlark was an unexpected bonus - the little sucker was moving so quickly next to the car, then he froze and gave me a great opp.

Very cool series here Susan... I really like your vision for these images.
Nice Hallmark moment in #2... beautiful.
Very nice pose and exposure on the hawk.
Excellent low angle and eye contact on the Meadowlark.
Love 9, 10, and 15 too.
Very well done.
Kirk
Multo thanks, Kirk! I know what you mean about the Hallmark moment.... hope it's not too corny! It was very beautiful seeing the two swans interacting.

Hi, Susan. Beautiful images! Very nice feel in the Tundra swans in fog series, my favorites.
# 7 is also in my favorite list. Have a great 2009!

Hello my friend, so nice to hear from you!! Finding the swans in the fog was a highlight -- we kept driving deliberately into the fog, knowing how special that was, and I didn't even take any photos of them in normal light. That mood was very special...
Happy new year!
