Summer in my garden is not only black snakes (saw 3 yesterday beneath the oak tree by the creek!), various marsupials, water fowl but also chicken hatching time.

Nice job on the Chicks
Ant
Thanks for commenting, Anthony.
I'm not a crooked crop man myself either, but it has more to do with my big fat Xmas stomach on the uneven ground and me trying to hold my brick (MkIII with 70-200 f2.8 IS) as close to the ground as possible while focusing, than a deliberate crooked crop!

Nice series. 12 is my favorite but I enjoyed looking at them all.
Thanks for posting these.
Best,

Aaron, Thanks for looking and the kind comments.
Charles, 11 is my fav as it is sharp where it should be sharp but similarly to Ant the crooked crop doesn't quite work for me. Nice series overall.

The crooked crop sure hasn't been popular. But it's not my fault. It's just the angle that my Xmas stomach made with the undulating ground. I didn't even notice it when posting the photo.
