From a purely photographic viewpoint, I REALLY like the very first shot - it would make a nice wall print of a handsome boy.
From a personal standpoint, I couldn't have taken the rest of the series, as I just get too emotional when one of my dogs is being worked on...seems like the older I get the less well I handle stress in those situations.
Hope he recovers fully and doesn't have any future problems.

i know what you are saying... i almost fainted in there man...But i just want to have those images as a reminder, it's part of his life. But i had a pretty hard time in there for sure...
Raymond, these little guys are family members -- I know how we feel when our guys (Abyssinian cats) have some kind of a health issue. I'm sure Carlos will get tons of TLC for his recovery!
These are wonderfull images and they caused my eyes to tear up,Carlos is like an institution here on FM and as others have said he is our boy too . I hope Carlos and his family are doing ok.....best wishes for you both for a speady recovery.
Get well mate and hope to see you back here soon.
My 5 year old Havanese had to have knee surgery in August when she tore her ACL, so I know what you're going through, and I'm glad Carlos is doing well.
One thing that I'm doing with my dog that my vet suggested is hydrotherapy. It helps rebuild the muscle without having her put weight on the leg. It appears to be helping - her leg has gotten a lot stronger. I'm not sure if dog swimming in a controlled environment is offered where you are, but you may want to look into it.
