Dude how the heck you pulled these off I have no idea! awesome, just awesome
I've try this before but fail...they're really hard! on a 1-10 scale they're like 9 (10 being IF swallows )! number 3 is a killer...I can see it's legs folded wow
Gotta try this w my new 40D...the AF is MILES ahead of the XT
ANT, you rock on these man! And you Exif shows #1 & #3 were shot with the 500mm!(see what a benefit that exif is ) That shutter speed at 1/750 worked perfectly on the wings, neat how you can see the body detail through the wing blur BG's are super, man I know how difficult this is, in fact I have yet to nail one in-flight and you present a series of them buddy, sweet
Hey Ant, I'm back, did you miss me? I had to go get some coffee. These are very nice indeed. You are a great talent and an asset to this forum.
I was wondering about your technique, did you just hold down the shutter and once in a while one of these would fly by? You always say it is the equipment and not the person holding it, I'm beginning to agree with you. 2 & 4 are my favorites, must be the mkll 400 combo.

A lot of failed attempts is how I did it A lot of throw aways and wasted shutter clicks.
I'd have to agree with the AF on the XT > I still own mine and it has made a great door stop
