While I am a fan of BH, don't hold your breath getting it quickly from them..They are one of the slowest to get new camera's and lenses or maybe they sell them too fast.

Nothing is ever going to be "problem free" whether it's just released or been on the market for years, there always can be a problem. You just get more whiners at first and people that don't know how to use their new gear. Granted there have been some problems with some releases, but this is not just with Canon or just with digital cameras.

Heard it from a few retailers.
One stating they stopped their backorders at 1000 and only get about 50-60 a week.

I pre-ordered it the same day it was announced from Amazon. However, as an amateur that does not make money off photography, I think a 2700 camera might be too much. Every day that the camera is not released, it makes me second guess my decision to order it. I mean, I have the discretionary money right now to make the purchase, but I honestly do not need it. I know it won't make me take better pictures than my 40D.
So, I am thinking of canceling my pre-order. So if anyone wants to take my place, PM me and I could update your contact info on the order....if that is allowed.....and safe since it contains credit card info....never mind....probably not a good idea
