I grew up in this area of NC (the northwestern part of the state) - I unfortunately haven't been home for the fall colors in quite a while especially since I've become more active in photography. This photo brings back some memories...if you are ever up there again check out some of the small waterfalls there...the area often referred to as 'The Cascades' is gorgeous during the peak of fall.
My God. The moment I saw this I thought "Marc Adamus". Then I looked at the name and it turns out I was correct. This is more than a photo. It's an experience.
I guess I made two mistakes in my first posting. First, the original photo I posted at this place was not madein 2008. Second, it was more of a tree than landscape. I aologize and try again!
By now, most of the colors are gone. Nevertheless, I went out today and here is the result.
