Here's my F64 8x10 backpack in one of it's many configurations, this time a field 4x5 & 35mm + 70-200 configuration (70-200 and 18mm are borrowed from a friend) Both cameras have a kirk plate on them, for my ball head & tripod (which I carry in hand)
On the top compartment (screen right) I've got my Chamonix 4x5, light meter, 2 grain bars, flashlight, toolbox (empty 4x5 film box), filter wallet, focusing loupe, 4x5 shutter release, and 1Ds2 battery.
On the bottom compartment (screen left) is the 1Ds2 with 45mm zeiss pancake mounted, 70-200 2.8is, Zeiss 18 & Zeiss 28, Canon 85/1.2, and 3 4x5 lenses: 90mm, 180mm, and 240mm Schneiders. Then an air 'rocket' blower, hand wipes & cloth, empty tin (you never know!) and a compass. Ontop of all this goes my black t-shirt (focusing cloth).
On the two puches on the outside, I have 4x5 film (5 holders each) and then on the back flap that covers the main compartment, I have two bottles of water, and a food kit/lunch.

i could never see the point in carrying a camera in a shoulder w/o a lens on ready to shoot. by the time you get it out and together it may be too late. it does look neat though.

Just threw a few of these out. Now I got a good use for them after seeing your post. I guess I need to buy some more cards right
Thanks Swanny
Seems to be the case! If you want you could buy a couple sandisk cf bags and send the cards my way. At least you can never have to many cf cards.
I think I asked the wrong set of photographers this question. Everyone here seem to be professionals and have twice or thrice the amount of equipment that I have. And I'm in shock. But, thanks for posting those awesome, "intimidating" photos of your gear, folks - really appreciate it. It is fun to see how real pros do it.
