Lars .. are you a Canon lens salesman. How many do you have? :0
Not really, but I sold two last month Usually I buy 6-7 lenses when I go to Bangkok. And then use them maybe half a year. And sell them in Sweden before I go back to Bangkok again. The prices are very high in Sweden for a mint condition good L lens.

Thanks Lars, I have been looking at the Pelican rolling models, and I think I am sold on the 1614.
That's a great case. You can have a 70-200/2,8 IS lens standing up without the lid touching it.
But it's a rather big and heavy case also. Nothing you have as a carry-on bag
Dear saaketham! You wrote I guess you missed the smiley in my post.
I do apologize for my sloppiness. I promise i will be lot more careful from now on.
Good, I was about to take action against you. You apologized just in time.
Anyway ... I bought a Tamrac and am already thinking about returning it. While it looked great in the shop, after all the gear went in, it looks bloated and unwieldy. It is big, has plenty of pouches and will accommodate 2 additional lenses (at least 1 of which I will get soon). So .. yeah - the quest for the perfect bag still goes on, in my case. BA seems to be in my future.
I'm shocked noone has condoms in their bags -- come on folks wrap it up -- (Yes, I lack some maturity!)
Actually, call me a nerd but I dig seeing peoples' kits! I'm itching to go shoot!!
For what it's worth, I scored an old high school locker a couple of years ago and now store much of my gear in it, when not in use. Highly recommend this option if it ever becomes available.
