The higher the res the less of a problem false color moire is anyway. Eventually the pixels will be so small there'll be no chance that only a single colour of the Bayer array will be illuminated and there'll be no need to smear the source to ensure it hits more pixels.
I'm getting more and more excited and anxious towards the PK. I see the PK as the absolute "best before" date for the 5d (misunderstand me correctly, the 5d will continue to take great images even AFTER this years PK, but the due to be replaced-date is getting close imo). Lots of rumors have surfaced the last weeks/months and right now they circle in on something like this:
18-21 mp
Full weather sealing
15-25 af -points
new large screen (like 50d)
micro af-adjust (like 50d)
5-6 fps (like 50d.. :P )
atleast iso 12800 (like 50d )
1-3 stop better iso-performance than the current 5d
If i could get a camera like that.. for 3000 USD, I'd be the happiest camper north of dovre.

I feel with you. Except about dovre . Never heard that before.
But it will be priced about € 2.200/2.300 what will be $ 2.500/2.600.

I think I have a triple negative
There's a snowball's chance in hell it won't be announced. I think that's right ie IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED

Dovre is a mountain area in norway, in many ways the country is divided in two halves (north/south) by this mountain area, and a standard saying is "she is the -insert adjective here- north/south of dovre"
No. You would not see them at a 10x15 print. But it would disturb any poster. The former "gap does reduce light, but not any image ino. They are (micro)lenses, not just holes.

Correct, but my assumption was the the "jaggies" were caused by that gap between microlenses. Now that the gap has been removed, the light is seemless between pixels.

I understood. But the jaggies would happen with the or no gap between two. There are and where (micro) lenses projekting the light to any dot on the sensor. Its still the same result with no gap inbetween. No gap means just more caught light.

Yes, but it's given me a great line I plan to work in to all of my e-mails today.
