I think that $3500 will be about right. That's what the original 5D cost when first announced. And I bet they sold a boat load of them at that price....Heck, I bought one at that price.....SWEET!! I might buy this next one....but I can wait a year before getting it. The 5D still takes awesome photos.

I noticed that Nikon has held back the announcement of their D90 even though Thom Hogan (quite reliable, I think) has already leaked the specs. Hmmm...
