Well, It's been a year and a half since I began here. Thanks to Irv for the reference here and to all the great photographer's out there whom have inspired me and guided me to strive for the better shot. Here's a few from Liberty Marsh, a small section of the Wallkill River Nat'l Wildlife Refuge. Thanks.

I have always enjoyed viewing your posts. You have posted quite a variety of subjects and they are always well done.
Faves in this post, the first kingfisher, just wish for a tad more light on his face, the second bunting, lovely photo. The pp on the goose grabs me. The last shot is splendid. Excellent post to mark your 2k.
Congrats Herb
The thing about your 2000 mark is I think you have posted 2000 bird shots for us, heck I thought for sure you had won the lotto and that you were on a continous bird shooting mission there for few months!
Glad to have your here, you have produced some wonderful photos and some unseen species for me. Of course you know I enjoy the occasional flower teasers too Speaking of that, loverly butters on the flowers especially the pink ones! Oh my. that Indigo is a standout, I keep seeing them but have not been blessed with a shot......yet You just gave a GBH a whole new look with those straight on shots my man
I look forward to continued postings and many new species from you, both bird and flowers, take care
Great shots Herb and congrats on acheiving the 2000 mark. You only have a little ways to go to catch up with some of the more prolific posters around here
Hope I've added to your enjoyement along the way.
Congrats on a wonderful series and #2000 Herb! You've been putting up some super stuff, 9 and 12 are my favorites in this set. Get going on the next 2000!

Thanks Tim. I had problems pp'ing that kf, the neck and sky kept blowing out when lightening up the face.
